Student led initiatives

From Ideas to Initiatives

Building, testing, and learning across education, health, and financial literacy.

3 ventures and 1 early venture

01 / College admissions

Unisimplify

Founder & CEO

2026 to present

Explore Unisimplify

A one profile admissions platform for Indian students, started because there was no admissions guidance in my own district.

Work documented

  • Built a single application profile covering 240 Indian colleges, with 1,400 signups in the first 5 months.
  • Reached Liz Cheron, CEO of the Coalition for College, through cold outreach and met with her.
  • Incubated at the OPJU Innovation Centre.
  • Nominated for a central government MSME review for a ₹15 lakh grant. Nomination only, not an award.

What I learned

Building Unisimplify pushed me to reach out to people I did not know, ask for resources, communicate with institutions, and become more receptive to constructive criticism.

02 / Health technology · MEDIESTA

VitalEdge

Co-Founder & CFO

2025 to 2026

Visit VitalEdge

VitalEdge is a health technology venture developing MEDIESTA, a portable diagnostic device designed to combine multiple health measurements in one compact product.

Work documented

  • Owned financial strategy, investor relations and cap table management.
  • Helped with VitalEdge's ₹50 lakh term sheet at a ₹7.6 crore valuation for 6% equity.
  • Supported product testing with more than 150 users.
  • Part of the team that reached the finals of the IIT Guwahati Tech Fest.

What I learned

VitalEdge taught me how startup financing actually works, and how much patience and clear thinking a hardware company demands.

A term sheet is not funds received, and the device has not received regulatory approval.

03 / Financial literacy

Finshub

Founder

2025

Visit Finshub

A financial literacy initiative that communicated finance related topics through written and video content.

Work documented

  • Published financial literacy content as articles, then turned them into short videos for YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Recruited and led more than 30 high school interns from several countries across content, research and operations.
  • The team jointly managed a USD 20,000 student run investment fund and directed its returns to charity.
  • Merged with GrowTalks Official and TickerTales.

What I learned

Finshub taught me how to communicate financial concepts in simpler language, coordinate a distributed team, negotiate, and understand why people commit to or leave projects.

The beginnings

Early ventures

2022 to 2024 · Started in Grade 8

Finefetter

Founder · Nutrition focused blog

Finefetter was a nutrition focused blog that began as an early entrepreneurial project in Grade 8.

  • Published more than 50 articles.
  • Led a team of six writers.
  • Developed and monetised the blog.

“Finefetter was my first experience building something independently. It taught me how to articulate ideas, coordinate writers, and challenge the assumption that students from smaller cities cannot build projects of their own.”
